Ruth Titilayo Secondary School Scholarship 2026: Application Now Open
The Ruth Titilayo Educational Foundation (RTEF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2026 Secondary School Scholarship Programme. This initiative is aimed at supporting academically promising students enrolled in Nigerian state secondary schools by providing financial aid for tuition and essential school expenses.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled in a state-owned secondary school in Nigeria, or have attended one within the past academic year.
- Be under 25 years of age at the time of application.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance, either through recent school results or entrance examination scores.
- Show commitment to personal development and educational advancement.
Scholarship Coverage
Successful applicants will receive:
- Tuition support of up to ₦100,000 per academic year.
- Maintenance allowance of ₦15,000.
- Additional support for school-related travel or research, subject to approval.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:
- A personal statement (maximum 500 words) explaining their academic goals and motivation.
- Recent school results or Common Entrance Examination scores.
- Two reference letters from teachers or school administrators.
- Any other relevant supporting documents.
