Gombe State University (GSU) Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form 2025/2026

Gombe State University (GSU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. All eligible candidates who selected GSU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME or applied via Direct Entry are invited to register for the screening exercise.

Registration Timeline

  • Start Date: Monday, 1st September 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 19th September 2025
  • Screening Dates: 22nd August to 26th August 2025 (for physical screening)

Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated window. Late applications will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:

  • Have chosen Gombe State University as their first choice in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry application.
  • Meet the minimum UTME score for their chosen course as outlined below:

Direct Entry candidates must ensure that their previous qualifications (NCE, IJMB, A-Level, Diploma) align with the course they are applying for. Cross-disciplinary applications will not be considered.

Screening Fee and Payment Method

  • Fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable)
  • Payment Channels: Debit card, bank transfer, USSD, or Visa QR

How to Apply

  1. Visit the GSU Admission Portal
  2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Get Details”
  3. Make payment using any of the approved channels
  4. Fill out the screening form and create your screening account
  5. Click “Register” and confirm your details
  6. Generate and print the two-page PDF:
    • Page 1: Personal and academic details
    • Page 2: Screening exam card

Attach photocopies of your credentials to Page 1 and bring both pages along with original documents during the physical screening.

Required Documents for Screening

  • JAMB Result Slip
  • O’Level Result (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
  • JAMB Admission Letter (if applicable)
  • Passport Photograph
  • GSU Online Registration Printout
  • Valid ID (for Direct Entry candidates)

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must arrive at the screening venue on time to avoid disqualification.
  • There may be a supplementary screening for candidates who miss the initial exercise.
  • Ensure all uploaded documents are clear and legible.
  • Admission is strictly based on merit and departmental quotas.
