Taraba State University (TASU) Admission List 2025/2026: First Batch Released
Taraba State University (TASU), Jalingo has officially released the first batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This list includes candidates admitted into various undergraduate programmes through both UTME and Direct Entry. If you selected TASU as your first choice and participated in the screening exercise, you can now check your admission status.
How to Check TASU Admission Status
Option 1: TASU Admission Portal
- Visit https://www.tasu.edu.ng
- Navigate to the “Admission” section
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number
- Select your admission type (UTME or DE)
- Click Submit to view your result
Option 2: JAMB CAPS Portal
- Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in with your registered email and password
- Click “Access my CAPS”
- Select “Admission Status”
- If admitted, click “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer
Next Steps After Admission
If your name appears on the list:
- Accept your admission on JAMB CAPS
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter
- Log in to TASU’s portal to pay your acceptance fee
- Begin online clearance and registration
- Prepare for physical screening, which typically requires:
- Original and photocopies of O’Level results
- JAMB result slip
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Local government identification letter
- Passport photographs
- TASU admission slip and payment receipts
Important Notes
- This is the first batch (merit list). TASU will release additional batches for candidates who meet departmental cut-offs or are considered under supplementary quotas.
- If your name isn’t on this list, keep checking both the TASU portal and JAMB CAPS regularly.
- Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS to avoid disqualification.
- Admission is provisional until clearance and registration are completed.
